## What you will do: Mapp Digital is seeking a highly skilled Junior Engineer to work in our 3rd Level Support Team. This critical role involves ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of our flagship Mapp Cloud application, which is integral to our clients‘ digital marketing success. Responsibilities: – Work closely with diverse teams, including Support Product Owners, DevOps, QA, and Software Engineers, to deliver effective problem resolution. – Develop an in-depth understanding of Mapp Cloud applications, enabling prompt and accurate issue resolution. – Provide technical guidance and support for critical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal application performance. – Stay updated with emerging technology trends to continuously enhance support strategies. ## The assets you bring to the team: – Advanced proficiency in Java and PostgreSQL. – Strong skills in using and navigating tools such as JIRA, Git, Jenkins, and Maven. – Capable of troubleshooting complex software issues in a cloud-based environment. – Excellent communication abilities, able to articulate complex technical concepts clearly. – Strong collaborative skills, thriving in a team-oriented environment. – Proactive problem-solving mindset, with an analytical approach to challenges. – Qualifications: – Comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. – A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. – Relevant experience in a similar role, demonstrating a track record of technical proficiency and problem-solving.
